Dave Whitlock's Red Fox Squirrel Nymph



Hi,

Thought I would post this famous fly as tied by Dave Whitlock himself:








We all have our own styles and methods which lead to different versions of the same fly. I don't have exact materials that Dave Whitlock uses. These are my interpretation:

    This is my second rfsn. I have somehow lost the first one I got from him about 10 years ago! Moving is hard for a fly tier!!

    I have never fly but think it is beautiful to watch. The grace of the flicking line is styles and methods which lead to different versions of the same fly.
